Methodist Conference Center, a large camp and conference
center in East Texas, is seeking applicants for the position
of Program Director.
Description:
Responsibilities for this position
include managing staff, equipment, schedules, and
programming for the challenge course, two pools, waterfront
area, game room and archery range. Program Director is also
responsible for promoting programs and maintaining campus
wide sports equipment and general recreation areas. |
Job qualifications:
Applicant must have a heart for
Christ, be organized, have excellent verbal and public
relations skills, and work well with fellow staff and
volunteers. A bachelor’s degree in recreation management or
related field, experience in challenge course
facilitation/management, aquatics management, and other
recreational programming preferred. Applicant should be
proficient in MS Office computer programs. ACCT challenge
course facilitator, Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, and NSPF
Certified Pool Operator certifications or the ability to
obtain them are desirable. |
