The Youth of First United Methodist Church in Bryan chose to spend their Spring Break working at Lakeview to help improve facilities and make the buildings better for everyone.  With paint, brushes, materials and a well-conceived plan, the group led by Kelly Idom tackled painting Windham Dorms to finish up what had not yet been adopted by other groups.  Not only did they paint the interior of the rooms, they also painted exterior portions giving the buildings a fresh look.

      Lakeview Superintendent, Dr. Von Dawson, said, "With the kind of extravagant generosity demonstrated by this fine group of youth Lakeview is able to do so much more in the way of facility improvements that benefit all our guests.  We love this wonderful group of young people and appreciate their willingness to give up their spring break to help Lakeview."
